I’m going to buy a pair of white shorts and rock this outfit with my ”j.crew” bubble necklace ALL summer long. Fair warning to my friends that will be seeing this often.

Got a black jersey blazer from Zara two months ago… It is my favorite thing ever. Seriously, you cannot help but look chic in it.

At Ease
The focus for Pre-Fall is on dressing with confidence and ease. For us that means pieces designed with a modern eye like our leg lengthening Modern Denim Trouser and timeless Perfect White Shirt. We’ve paired them with our Vintage Trench, Exotic Avenue Tote, Exotic Belt, and Lilia Platforms for an outfit that feels completely modern and wearable all season long.

Jaclyn Day: 16 outfits

jaclynday:

I picked up the latest issue of Lucky over the weekend and was really excited to see a feature that had 90 days of outfits created using only 26 pieces. I was originally going to see how many of the outfits I could replicate, but 90 is a bit excessive. I had quite a few of the pieces already…

Waaaaaaay back in 2002 / 2003 when I was still a youngster in my early 20s, I lusted over this Sass & Bide denim jacket.  It cost $250 (aussie) at the time and was completely out of my price range.  I couldn’t afford to spend so much money on one item of clothing.  So I admired it from a distance.
I’ve thought about this denim jacket on and off over the years.  It sounds like I’m talking about a lost love, doesn’t it?!
It popped back into my head earlier this week after seeing Jessica of What I Wore wearing one that looked very similar.  I did some research to see if the Sass & Bide version was still available to buy.  Alas, it’s no longer in production or sold in stores.  I figured it was a lost cause.  But then ebay emailed me an alert last night - someone had listed my exact size for sale.  And at a buy-it now price of $100 (US).
Done and done.
8 years later and the Sass & Bide denim jacket is finally mine.

I really like this outfit.
